Since Joshua's trip to the ER and diagnosis of high blood pressure he has been on a strict low sodium diet. A low sodium diet is about 1,500 mg of sodium a day. This pretty much means all processed food is out of the question. We have both had to learn new cooking techniques and change our meal plans. It has been a challenge. It takes planning. No more opening jars, boxes, or cans. As result, Joshua has lost about 20 pounds. Who can argue with those results?!
